As a citizen of Hamilton, Ontario, I do want the extension on the moratorium on new and increasing permits to happen. I would also like the complete elimination of the commercial bottling of groundwater in Ontario. Given the current state of the environment, participating in further plastic bottles being generated is outright unethical and illogical, and water is a right, not a commodity. Impacts on groundwater systems must be assessed and respected. I also object to violations against First Nations and other communities, such as those described in the article linked below.
