The woodland caribou are an important long-term resource for Canada. Their habitat is also very important for many reasons, including the mitigation of climate change. We support the recommendations laid out in the Guiding Principles of the Recovery Plan, for the sake of the long-term health of the eco-system that supports human existence as well as that of the caribou.
