In Canada, nonprofits have been clear about our effect on endangered species, including certain types of trees and plans. This proposal makes clear that the goal is economic and to allow the forestry industry to reap financial rewards with little to no consideration on the possible impact for future generations. I think we ought to reconsider this plan and the possible ill effects of such environmental disregard.
