This article is highly misleading. More cubs are orphaned without the spring bear hunt when the population explodes and more sows are killed on the highway etc. It’s a joke to blame baiting for bears becoming dependent on humans for food when every dump is a feeding station and every human dwelling a place with food. Too many bears are creating a higher incidence of bear attacks on humans.
