Spring bear hunt should continue, only boars over 2 years should be allowed to harvested. The hunt helps cottage owners by controlling the bears, also brings in funds for the tourism industry.

Please leave our wild life alone. They don't need to be hunted for amusement. Protect our wildlife don't murder them. Bests are a beautiful animal and don't deserve to be hunted down.

I live in Northern Ontario, Black Bears have become a major problem not only in the city I live in, but also at the family cottage. In the last 10 years the population has boomed. I believe that this type of hunting should not be designated as an annual season. Right now there may be a healthy population, but that means there was a time it was at risk. I believe such a hunt should be determined every year. Not a slated annual hunt. Lire davantage

I would be supportive of the 1 week spring season on the Bruce Peninsula but would also like to see a 1 week fall season instead of cancellation as proposed.
