I would like to see this…

I would like to see this proposal stay in draft phase for a review. I am concerned that there is not enough emphasis placed on sustainability and that there should be more discussions with Indigenous groups than the proposal indicates it intends to do. I also believe that some of the “barriers” being removed so wood can be accessed more easily by the logging industry will hurt the environment. The logging industry should not be exempt from the endangered species act, and Ontario should not be increasing the amount of wood to be logged by as much as it is. This would be detrimental to the animals and their habitat. Please do not pass this and send it back for revisions.
