Now more than ever, with all of the threats to the environment that already exist, it's time to stop thinking of our natural areas as commercial assets. DO NOT ease lumber restrictions just so companies can make a greater profit. Leave natural areas as habitat for the diverse array of creatures who need them. I value a healthy ecosystem WAY over the interests of companies wanting to increase profit or a government wanting to attact more industry to plunder our natural treasures. I'm sick of watching habitat disappear for the sake of capitalism and so-called "progress."
