As a resident in West Hill, not too far from the proposed Waste Disposal Site, I STRONGLY OBJECT TO THE location of the facility at 633 Coronation Drive.
it seems that the committee is viewing the proposal SOLELY in terms of Environmental Considerations while disregarding other factors that will impact the neighboring residential areas.
It is unacceptable to have a facility for waste disposal SO CLOSE TO RESIDENTIAL areas in which there are several children and several schools. Processing of food, plant, animal, and human wastes in a facility that is located in a residential area is UNACCEPTABLE.
The reports indicate that as many as 100 LARGE trucks will be entering and leaving the site every day 24/7/365, leading to traffic nightmares in an already congested neighborhoods.
It seems that the plant will emit at least 6 types of TOXIC AND GREENHOUSE GASES including NOx, CH4, CO2, SO2, TRS, and particulates, significantly adding to the pollutants in the adjoining neighborhoods. Even from an environmental point of view, this proposed facility is DISASTROUS.
FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE REASONS, I STRONGLY OPPOSE THE PROPOSED FACILITY AT 633 CORONATION DRIVE.
