We support the move toward…

We support the move toward the Consolidated Linear ECAs, and the mirroring of the water Approvals.
However, for the following reasons, we ask for your consideration in pushing the rollout from the Spring of 2021 to at least the Fall of 2021, or ideally, the Spring of 2022:
1. Staffing level uncertainty due to COVID and the potential and unknown impact of the Fall/Winter season
2. the Spring roll out overlaps the Ministry Reporting period for Annual Reports and Performance Reports
3. For smaller Municipalities with multiple wastewater systems, for example 10 wastewater systems, the asset inventory, mapping and overflow identification and other requirements are multiplied by 10, with the responsibilities falling on the same small group.
We appreciate the opportunity to provide input; again, we support the move toward the Consolidated Linear ECAs, but will struggle to meet the deadlines while continuing to comply with existing responsibilities and deadlines, especially during the uncertainty of COVID .
