Hello.  I have some comments & questions related to supply & demand referred to in your publication:

http://www.energy.gov.on.ca/en/files/2016/10/LTEPDiscussionGuide.pdf

1.  Supply / Capacity - your article states Ontario generated 160TW in 2015, and that we have the ability to produce more - but you only list the instantaneous capacity of 39393MW.  What is our estimated annual maximum capacity based on 2015 data?  In other words, what is our current capacity safety factor?

2.  Demand - The chart on pg 12 showing demand outlook shows 4 possible scenarios or 'outlooks'. The problem with this chart is that it does not show the last 10 years of demand which would help give the reader confidence in which outlook has the highest probability of being correct.  The difference between Outlook A/B is very different from Outlook C&D.  Choosing C or D means potentially spending billions of taxpayer $ on unnecessary capacity.

In short, I don't feel that the future demand for electricity will vary too far from the past 8 years (post Great Recession). Hence we should not be adding any additional capacity unless it is warranted.

I respect the amount of ambiguity involved with predicting energy usage, but lets be realistic:  We have more than enough capacity now and taxpayers are fed up with high Global Adjustment fees and new energy contracts.

Thank you.
