I think this is a very important and excellent proposal. It is essential for conservation that we increase the interaction between interested members of the public and wildlife. The idea that we can just have a hands off approach is entirely false, and counter-productive -- it isolates habitats, and limits positive interactions. Careful, sustainable interactions increase public awareness, which increases general concern about maintaining habitat, which is the single most important thing that needs protecting. I applaud this initiative. It will increase public awareness of habitat using these charismatic species. This is an important first step in ongoing efforts to protect habitat, and conserve natural species, wildlife. Less charismatic groups will benefit from habitat protection, such as insects, fungi, lichen, and wildflowers, groups which are often overlooked. The benefits from this plan are that interested persons will talk about their hunting experiences, tell stories to community groups and spread this important message about habitat loss through the lens of falconry.
