Thank you for addressing the state of our current recycling system. No doubt, it is in much need of improvement. Too many valuable materials end up in the landfill only because we haven’t thought about how to reuse it.
But focus also needs to shift to review as to what materials we are letting into the country from countries like China. Much of those materials are destined for the landfill after a single use and may already be contaminated before we use them.
