The Town of Mono endorses the comments provided by Mr John Riley regarding EBR Registry No. 013-1014 and 013-0968, which were submitted in writing on September 25, 2017.
As a municipality that has designated Prime Agricultural areas in the Official Plan, and has recently completed a draft Natural Heritage Study and draft Official Plan Amendment (currently under consultation), the accuracy of the local studies must be acknowledged and supported, and should supersede the general mapping, based on technical shortcomings, being developed at this time through these two draft documents.
