Please consider expanding the Greenbelt even more than the proposal describes including enhancing the power of conservation authorities and bring back proper environmental assessments. As local citizens we continue to oppose reckless and irresponsible developments that destroy wetlands, forests and farmland and support growing the Greenbelt even more. More needs to be done to ensure the Greenbelt is protected. Not just now but for the future as well. These lands and watersheds should be considered for Provincial Parks status and be protected accordingly.
