Making a law to retroactively stop MZOs from ever being challenged in court is a serious overreach and a breach of democratic principles. There is no way the provincial government should be allowed to override local municipal planning and the will of local councils and citizens. I can't believe this is being considered by a government in Canada. I am so angry and embarrassed by the actions of this administration regarding the 413 highway, the Bradford bypass, the Dufferin wetlands and taking away powers from the Conservation Authorities.
The proposed changes to the Planning Act must not go through.
