More than ever, we need to protect the Greenbelt and expand it to provide ecosystem-services for the numerous communities that depend on it.

The Greenbelt and its constituent small-farms, marshes, fields, and forests are something that we cannot lose as the climate crisis continues to intensify.

Lest we forget the catastrophic flooding in the wake of Hurricane Hazel, we needn't learn that lesson again. We have our conservation authorities to protect the ravines and people's livelihoods from being washed down the river and into the lake.

This is why we need to expand the Greenbelt and the protections for the Greenbelt--for both our physical and mental health--for the health of out towns and cities and the people, pets, plants and animals who live in and amongst this great province.
