I live in the Niagara region…

I live in the Niagara region, which is surrounded by (and in) the Greenbelt.

This is such a special and unique biosphere; indeed, it is an example and point of admiration to the rest of the world.

With so much land and biodiversity either lost or at risk, it is vital we do enough to not only add, but preserve more land--including this incredible part of Canada + the world.

The greenbelt provides oxygen, habitat, nutrition, leisure, clean water, and innumerable qualities to our lives. Plant and animal life flourishes and has somewhere safe to live + thrive; human beings have improved quality of life just by living in its shadow.

We need to send a strong message that this is not only worth protecting, but worth adding to, and demanding safety for in a time when so many will raze and destroy for a quick buck.

Please consider expanding this beautiful, and necessary, part of the world.
