As a local resident of Uxbridge and as a nearby neighbour of the Miller pit I am reaching out to the Miller group for their conscientious reconsideration of what they are proposing. As a citizen of Uxbridge I do appreciate the fact that the Miller group has provided many jobs in the region. But when it comes to the health and good of the community it is time for a new reflection. Perhaps it is time for them to show a reflection of their appreciation to the community that has allowed them to coexist within its borders and to show leadership in their respect for future generations to come. Perhaps it’s time to move their operations to a more suitable location perhaps along the 407 corridor where other commercial activities are developing. Perhaps a land swap between the provincial and or the federal governments could be explored. This could solve all the issues and then restoration of this land could begin and be used by all residents of this great community. This is called win win. I sincerely hope the Miller group reassess their moral obligations to our great township of Uxbridge
