I am a concerned resident of Uxbridge that doesn’t want Miller paving to be able to bring more trucks and fill into our beautiful area. I believe that by approving this, it opens up the possibility for more companies to change the terms that they have with the township and the MNRF. This Miller pit is also located on a Highly Vulnerable Aquifer within the Oak Ridges Moraine, and bringing in fill from the GTA provides a significant risk to our water.
In summary, I disagree with this proposal and don’t feel like this is in the best interest of our town.
