We have lived a couple of miles from the Miller pit for the last 38 years and have woken up to the smell of asphalt many mornings from this pit. We had friends who lived on the 17th were greatly affected by this on their health and had to eventually move. We are highly concerned for the impact on the environment and water if Miller is allowed to bring in fill. We have seen the effects of contaminated fill in other pits. The amount of truck traffic will greatly impact our roads and add to the traffic noise. Miller’s non compliance in the past is also troubling. We are concerned citizens who are not confident the township is paying attention to the impacts this will have on the environment and the locals in the area. We are strongly opposed to this going forward.
