As a Port Colborne resident, I am very opposed to this proposal. This quarry company continues to deliver on commitments to convert existing quarries in to natural rehabilitation zones as they are contractually obligated to do so. They have blatantly polluted the water table in their existing work areas buy dumping construction fill without proper authorization in to older pits.

Granting another permit will only allow them to continue this gross abuse of the natural ecosystem, doing damage that will negatively impact Port Colborne and surrounding residents for generations to come.

This company is irresponsible, profit mongering and takes no action to balance the damage they do with any programs for ecological balance or restoration.
