Proponents of oil sands…

Proponents of oil sands expansion continue to argue that it's hypocritical to call for an end to fossil fuels because we all use them. Yes, we do all use them, but that's because we have not been offered an alternative! And, if we continue to pour all of our money and brainpower into the oil industry, there will never be an alternative to oil. The only way to make a change is....to make a change! Yes, it will take time and resources, but someone has to take the leap, and the longer we put it off, the more painful the consequences are going to be.

Please, let's stop burying our heads in the tarsands and get on with the necessary work of developing renewable sources of energy.
