Please don't handcuff the ability of Conservation Authorities to provide recreation opportunities. Recreation provision should be a central mandate of the CAs. The recreation opportunities, as simple as they are, provide natural settings for walking, picknicking, swimming, biking, and cross country skiing. The cost by users to access these opportunities is low, and is thereby affordable to Ontarians. We need these natural recreation opportunities for physical and mental health.
