Ontario needs to do everything in its power, including suffering the temporary pain of raised electricity rates, to transition to an entirely green and renewable generation grid.

Energy security of the future depends upon it; Ontario cannot be relying on carbon when temperatures rise past +2 degrees celsius on average, or higher. The change will either be forced upon us suddenly at enormous cost in lives and livelihoods, or we can accept it now and keep the cost in terms of dollars and cents.
