It is irresponsible to cancel the cap and trade program without having another program in place to mitigate climate change. Our children’s future depends on mitigating the impacts of fossil fuels. Our government NEEDS to be forward thinking and support industries that move with the times. Cap and trade helps to factor in environmental protection into the economic development of industry. It may not be perfect but it helps to change an out dates mindset which ignores environmental impacts as paet of a businesses bottom line. Time for change!!!
