I must admit burning wood…

I must admit burning wood including pellets from trees harvested for that purpose is just about the stupidest idea I've ever heard. Not only does the burning create more CO2 emissions than does burning coal, but the standing trees are aborbers of greenhouse gases.

If we want to destroy our planet for short term gain, there is probably no better way than to burn wood for "energy". Please recommend an immediate end to this madness.
