I strongly disagree with the cancellation of the current cap & trade program until we can come up with a better scheme. Since the province is in desperate need of cash to balance budget, this provides an opportunity to generate close to $2 billion. The amount collected can be also used to fund sustainable energy projects which makes an impact on fighting climate change. Fighting climate change is a price that everyone has to pay, so I personally don't mind paying more on making a difference to provide a better future for our children.
