The Government's Act repeal…

The Government's Act repeal to the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016 is poorly thought out and against all available evidence. It will result in significant and tangible costs to Ontario citizens and a greater likelihood that our children and their children will live in an Ontario with greater scars of climate change.

I urge all and any responsible members of this government to pull this act to repeal the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016 and to allow the Act of 2016 to continue to do good for the people of this province. Moving forward with the motion to repeal will demonstrate this goverment's failure to manage environmental risks and it's responsibilities to the people of the province.
