Replacing fossil fuels with another dirty-burning fuel is NOT an answer to the climate crisis. Deforestation to meet growing demand for wood pellets is NOT an answer to the climate crisis. People currently working in the fossil fuel industry deserve better jobs that transitioning into an equally (at best) polluting industry. Stop expanding the wood pellet industry – it’s a false climate solution that is dirtier than coal at the smokestack. We need to do better. Our survival is counting on it.
