If and only if wood pellets used for energy are truly made from waste byproducts of the lumber industry, then using biomass is a good solution.
However, cutting down trees to process directly into wood pellets is a false climate change solution!! Please don’t go there! Protection of our boreal forests and the biodiversity they support is paramount. True solutions to the climate emergency start with conservation.
