'The Jones Group Ltd. has applied for a minor technical amendment for a waste processing site (other than hazardous/liquid industrial) to receive and process excess soil and soil slurries from local sources and ongoing construction, demolition, infrastructure, and repair projects.'
Soil slurries (slump greater than 150 mm) are Liquid Industrial Waste but exempted from being subject waste and the Jones Group site zoning only permits non-hazardous solid waste. Therefore the application should be reviewed from the standpoint that the site will be receiving Liquid Industrial Waste (Liquid Soil).
