This is a great idea and long overdue. These lands are ecologically unique due to their Akbar substrate and lack of industrial or working agriculture on the land.
Secondly with the increasing interest in the County as a tourist destination there has been unprecedented pressure on the current provincial parks and conservation areas. Any opportunity to expand the recreational areas would be welcome by local residents and tourists alike.
