The Ontario economy is coming under increasing threat as a result of actions taken by the previous provincial government, the current federal government and the political environment in the US. While, I see great value in protecting the environment, I don't think we should further imperil our economy by implementing an ill conceived scheme, which as other jurisdictions have experienced, is ripe for fraud, does not protect the environment and only serves government and their client special interest groups. I support the Ford government's plan to scrap Cap and Trade. If CO2 emissions and climate change are such a global concern than it must be addressed by all nations around the world and not used as a quasi global wealth distribution scheme.
