I strongly disagree with the proposed bill to repeal the CCMLEA, 2016. Cap and Trade is a device to curb emissions that are destructive to our environment and as such is a step toward participating in Climate Change initiatives worldwide.
Fossil fuel emissions are instrumental in both global warming and increased pollution levels. Ontario should be cooperating with the federal government on climate change initiatives instead of engaging in partisan politics.
The repeal of this bill puts this province on the road to environmental suicide.
