Climate change is the most important issue facing us today. I believe the Ontario government should reinstate Cap and Trade. The Economist magazine calls it "the most market-friendly way to manage carbon emissions." A carbon tax might be even more effective, though less market -friendly. We saw the effects of a more volatile climate with the tornado in Ottawa last weekend. The cost of doing nothing to prevent climate change will be much higher than the cost of investing to minimize it. Please either reinstate Cap and Trade or introduce a carbon tax like the on which has been effective in BC.
