*NO!*
This is short term, self-interested, backwards thinking. We need to protect our precious contiguous greenspace and environmentally sensitive lands. The reality is 50,000 houses isn't going to solve the housing crisis, but WILL irreversably degrade our environment.
Stop putting the interests of developers over the interest of our future generations.
