I do NOT support the proposed changes to the Greenbelt. These are protected, fertile agricultural lands which cannot simply be replaced by protected lands elsewhere. It includes farmlands, forests, wetlands, and watersheds.
As this government continues to focus on housing it cannot do so at the expense of the environment, especially not protected land.
I am confident you can find another measure to deliver these housing developments in a way that will better support all of Ontario and protect our most important lands.
