Please do not do this and ruin what is something that identifies Ontario. It is a part of the history around here and people would gladly pay to live close to all this if they just build on/remodel existing areas. There is no guarantee this will give good results it will become something that gets lost in years and years of unfinished work and contracts that still won’t solve any housing problem nor provide any want to move there once the Greenbelt is destroyed. Line your pockets now and have to run and hide going broke later it is, better to go make more certain investments elsewhere and keep Ontarians happy so that we go along with your other proposals in peace. Born and raised between Toronto and Kitchener and would hate to see all that important nature get trampled on for nothing.
