I really deeply disagree with this proposal due to the fact that it includes a reduction to the designated greenbelt areas. Ontario has always prided itself on it's greenbelt space. I would much prefer to see other types of legislation introduced to deal with housing and sprawl (such as allowing more mid level shared housing) over opening the green belt up to construction.
If this goes through I will 100% not vote for the Ontario PC party next election cycle for breaking their promises to protect the greenbelt.
