Why touch the Greenbelt when…

Why touch the Greenbelt when there's available space elsewhere to build? And instead of building single family homes in the Greenbelt, a better alternative is building mid-density housing. Scrap plans for single family homes with huge yards and put in some low level condos/apartments. These will house the same number of people on less land. Once you develop a parcel, it's irreversible. This is not a decision to take lightly and make rashly since just last year it was stated that the government had no plans to develop the Greenbelt.
