As the world works to reduce our impact on the environment and increase our resiliency in the face of climate change, this legislation is short-sighted and clearly has only one thing in mind: growth without consequence. Build up not out please, build smart not foolishly. Yes, AFFORDABLE housing is important and there are so many solutions offered that don’t involve rolling back environmental protections in the process. There are so many examples all over the world where people are figuring out solutions that don’t trade off the health of the environment in the process. Remember we ARE the environment.
