Hello, I am writing to express my outrage at
these decisions which choose to destroy fertile
lands instead of infilling and developing within the existing urban boundaries. I ask for the protection of existing natural heritage systems and protection for the Greenbelt and Agricultural preserve lands.

The greenbelt was established to preserve the watershed. It filters our water and air. We cannot keep bending to infinite growth and unsustainable development. We can’t say save the rainforest when we destroy critical wildlife habitat in our backyards. We need to protected more green spaces and limit humanity’s foot print while we can.

Additionally, developers want to build expensive single, double and triple family homes there, not affordable housing. We need to build denser housing in cities that desperately need it. It's the most best way to increase labour supply, the best way to preserve the Greenbelt, and the best way to achieve affordable housing.
