We’ve protected this land…

We’ve protected this land for so long and should keep it that way. It is up to us to work at keeping our environment and protected areas safe. I understand there is a a housing crisis but using land that was never meant to be developed seems short sighted in the greater scheme of things. If we move forward and use this land what’s to stop further development on it or other protected areas. It’s a slippery slope in world where man is destroying their own natural landscape. We are Canadians and lucky to have such beautiful land and fresh water. Let’s do our best to conserve this land for our planet and future generations.
