This is an overreach of the conservative government and it makes Doug Ford look even worse than he already does. Even though he may not care about the environment as a political issue, the citizens of Ontario definitely do. Flooding, degrading the water table, preserving wetlands are all reasons that we need to keep the Greenbelt protected.

If Doug Ford wants to give land to his developer friends - make them do it in areas with "missing middle" low to mid rise density where transit and other items exist.
