It is abhorrent that the government is considering going back on its word and building on protected green belt land essential for environmental diversity. Building on this land will contribute to worsening traffic, emissions due to increased commuting and permanent loss of the natural landscape Canada uniquely offers. I completely reject this proposal and encourage government officials to protect Ontario from becoming a smog infested urban wasteland.
