Please rethink this carefully. It is possible to increase housing while maintaining the Greenbelt. Sprawl will be the death of everything good we have here - we need green spaces for the wellbeing of the people, for environmental cooling, and for the health of our water ways and wildlife. Canadians value these things. Encroaching on the Greenbelt is worrisome, even if you are replacing it with other land - it is there for a reason and you don’t know the impact this will have or the precedent it will set. Please uphold the integrity of the Greenbelt. Maintain it as off limits. Imagine denser housing where everyone has easy access to city life as well as green spaces. We can have both if we plan more carefully.
