This Greenbelt land swap is a catastrophe. It completely undermines the reason we have the Greenbelt in the first place and ignores the government's findings that we have enough vacant or underused land to develop the housing that we need. The fact that this government slid it in on a Friday afternoon while everyone was distracted by their overriding of worker's rights only amplifies the degree of embarrassment and hate that I feel for this government. As a young person trying to find their way in this province, I am angry at the destruction and pure disregard for my community's health and safety that this Bill represents.
