Urban sprawl is not the answer - improving zoning for medium density housing is. Create more multiplexes, low rise apartment and condo buildings, and improve transit accessibility. The Greenbelt has important environmental and ecological value and should not be developed for single family housing that will remain unaffordable for the majority.
