The usage of the greenbelt has many negative effects on Ontario and the environment as it is the only access to greenspace for most GTA residents

Cooling effect on the greenbelt - with an impending energy shortage, and no real plan to remediate it, and the increasing temepratures of the GTA, we are going to put massive stain on our energy grid

Increasing sprawl - actively deteriorates our quality of life and air quality. We need density, not sprawl.
