Ontario and Canada need to be leaders in carbon emission mitigation for the sake of our economy and the planet. Carbon pricing may add some short-term disruption to the economy's status quo, but it is absolutely necessary from an environmental standpoint, and has been proven to have an overall positive economic effect when implemented carefully.

We need to move forwards, not backwards. On behalf of Ontarians, and future generations of Ontarians, please do not cancel the cap-and-trade act.
